The History of Yogananda in America
We have created this forum to celebrate Paramahansa Yogananda's years in America. Many devotees have expressed a desire to know more about our Guru and the many people he interacted with during his lifetime. To honor Yogananda's numerous contributions to yoga in America, we will feature prominent lay disciples who assisted our Guru throughout his life in America; the works of key lay disciple ministers such as Dr. Minott Lewis and Kamala Silva will be posted, as will the early writings of our Guru. We hope you enjoy reading and viewing this pictorial history of Yogananda, who continues to positively and peacefully impact so many of our lives. Our beloved President Sri Daya Mata left this earthly plane on November 30, 2010. We have created this forum to celebrate her life and spiritual legacy through words and images.
